The first real-time, social guide for TV
South Africa already feel very much connected in the TV watching base by hashtagging their favourite programmes, RT’ing one another and commenting on the images and sounds from their screens.
Social Guide would group the people watching a particular show what seems to be a chatroom concerning the programme.
An Android and iPhone app that connects you to people who are watching the same...

Consumers don't like talking on the phone
According CloudTalk, only 43% of consumers use their smartphone to make calls. If you’re on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter or have your email account connected to your phone, you’re probably eating up battery power doing all those other things.[[MORE]]
In a world, where consumers are always complaining about call costs, applications such as Blackberry Messenger help lessen those costs...

Auction | Jock of the Bushveld
I was never for the idea of a 3D animated version of the famed animal’s story.
I fondly remember watching the true story in cinemas as a youngling. Crying at the end of the film.[[MORE]]
And then South Africans decided to get with the times by turning an old story into 3D.
A re-release? Not really. Just a tarnishing of childhood memories.
Anyways, Stephan Welz & Company will be...

YFM beyond radio
So it goes….
YFM has decided to follow in the footstep of 5FM and delve into television…But they’re going BIG.
According to wonted, the station will be launching a TV station.
Seemingly, it’ll will be competing with the likes of Vuzu.
Perhaps, Nonhle Thema will cut the YFM DJs some slack (on Twitter), now that they’ll also be on TV (like Nonhle is)
Revitalising the mind...
Lately, possibly for last few years, I have felt dumber. My mind is fried from life stresses and the amount of cramming I did in varsity.
Cramming for subjects like Business Management or certain Economics courses….
My mind is foggy, full of adult problems that don’t really have to be problems…
Gone are the days when I seriously enjoyed mathematics and had copious amounts of hours to spend in...

I Don't Understand | Transformers 3D
I am told that Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a terrible film yet those same people who say that tell me that I should watch it, if only for the 3D effects that make it the box office hit it has become.
That what I did with Avatar, I almost slept in the movie theatre. Special effects is definitely not enough to make me want to see a movie, well except for The Matrix (only the first one) and...

THE HIGHLINE NYC →
The High Line in NYC has got to be one the most brilliant ideas I have seen in my lifetime…A must see!
That was what the HighLine looked like before. Just an old railway track. With nothing going on for it.
And then tranformed to this beauty. More than 1-mile long, above ground so you get to take in the city life but still have the advantages of a quiet and untouched park.
*a...

Excuse The Silence
Jet lag. Jet lag. Jet lag.
I’m also missing some gifts that I bought in the States as well as my facewash. So it has been a “hectic” week for me, and it’s only Wednesday.
Anyways, New York City is an incredible place. Been in discussions with my mother about one (soon) studying on that side of the world. But not NYC per se, but close enough so that I can suck in all its...
